Protecting your resources with sanlock - DevConf.CZ 2020

Speakers: Vojtech Juranek Have you ever wonder how exactly sanlock protect you resources, e.g. disks to prevent multiple VMs to write to the same disk? Have you used sanlock and been afraid of changing sanlock timeouts as you have no idea what it exactly does? In this talk we will outline the ideas on which sanlock is built upon, namely Disk Paxos and Delta Leases. This will clarify, how sanlock works and also some of it's configuration parameters.
